 My dog Aslan, is working line German Shepherd with a lot of energy and drive.  Dustin’s training has helped him become much calmer and listen and obey my commands. Aslan was a challenge to walk on a leash before training and would constantly pull, but now he walks very well on a leash!  Whatever issue you’re having with your dog, Dustin can help! I highly recommend his board and train program, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed like I was.

Dustin Gordon trained both of our 9 year old dogs in June of 2022 while we were on vacation.  We came home to 2 very different dogs.  We couldn’t believe it - our very sweet but defiant dogs (a little Maltese-ish dog (Woody) and a mix who looks a bit like a miniature foxhound (Henry) had been partners in crime from the moment they met and we had had no idea how to deal with it.  But Dustin knew just what to do to get thru to each dog, and they are very different so that was impressive.  Dustin is very kind but very firm with his students and they do learn who is the alpha, as of course they must.  He was in touch with us every day, at least once, giving us progress reports & describing the difficulties & successes each dog exhibited, which was fascinating as they were soo different.  By the time we got home, they knew what was expected and they liked getting praises for jobs well done.  They were proud of themselves.  Dustin doesn’t train to treats, he trains to praise and it worked for both our dogs.  Then Dustin began to train us, maybe a harder job.  He was as patient with us as he was with the dogs, very clear in his instruction.  This young man has a feel for what animals (2 & 4 legged) respond to - pretty amazing to watch.  And he truly loves them all.
